My week of classes at Oh Young Language Center has been very fulfilling. The teacher first checked my level through relaxed conversation, which helped me feel comfortable right away. The lessons were also customized to my needs—for example, she adapted the check-in instructions I use at work into simple, natural Chinese that I can actually say. Since I want to improve my listening, the teacher explained mainly in Chinese, using pictures or simple English when necessary. It was challenging, but I could really feel my progress, and I’ve become more confident about speaking. Overall, the classes here make me feel supported, encouraged, and genuinely motivated to keep learning Chinese.
